When I first started researching/testing & evaluating the Glock .45s, I was extremely impressed with the Glock 30 and its phenomenal accuracy and handling for its size. At the time, though, I was wearing suit and tie to work and wanted something I could conceal in all scenarios/all attire, etc., so I went with the Glock 36.

I've been a fan of the Glock Model 30 Compact 45 ACP Pistol but it's thick. The Model 30s is also in 45 ACP but has a much slimmer slide and Barrel. It's mak...I carry either a Glock 30sf, Sig P220 Carry or Colt LW Commander in front of my left hip, inside waist band (aiwb) in a Dale Fricke Archangel kydex holster. Carrying behind my hip never set well with me....didn't like sitting on the lump of my pistol/holster. The PMC bronze 230 gr ball and Winchester Ranger were almost identical with both groups averaging just a tad over 2.5 inches. The 30sf hated the TAP rounds. The best five shot group with TAP was 4.5 inches. Also, I noticed some inconsistency with Hornady TAP.Glocks are known for having loose tolerances. When they made the 30SF, they compromised and made the tolerances a little tighter. I suspect the main issue is that they raised the position of the trigger housing ever so slightly to help accommodate the shorter backstrap.
