The project. We transformed the corner of our yard into a neat fire pit area with a surrounding garden. The first step was removing the trees. We used a chainsaw and had to get rid of a few trailer loads of branches and logs. We ended up hiring a mini excavator to remove the roots and three tonnes' worth of dirt to get it level.
