You need real powder. Flintlocks are great if you have a good lock (Siler, Chambers, L&R,) they're horrible, unreliable, and frustrating if you have a cheap, crappy lock. So in other words stay away from a Traditions brand Flintlock. This build to be is going to turn out to be a heirloom build.
