All-in-all I spent 60 dollars on enough fabric to make myself a cloak, and maybe even enough to make my girlfriend one as well. I'll at least be able to make her a shorter, half circle cloak. Most of the surplus blankets I found cost as much as the fabric, and buying the fabric allows you to use almost any color you wish.
