MARCQI is a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network supported collaborative that began in 2012. MARCQI has created a statewide quality improvement infrastructure by developing a consortium of healthcare facilities and providers in Michigan that engage in quality improvement activities for hip and knee replacement procedures. Brian Hallstrom, MD is the Program Director of MARCQI and previously served as Co-Director of MARCQI. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan. Dr. Hallstrom received his medical degree from Boston University before completing a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan.
