Nov 20, 2016 · The markings described on the G10 rifles match almost exactly my G16 rifle, and I suspect it shares a similar history. The manufacture for commercial purpose might explain the very low serial number. The barrel in my G16 is brand new as is the bluing and stock, so at the very least, it's been refurbished recently. The rear sight is an open notch type which is adjustable for elevation from 100 meters to 1000 meters(110-1100 yards). There is also an all purpose "battle" setting on the sight ladder, set for 300 meters(330 yards).
