I have to say I'm mostly a fan. It sounds considerably better in terms of timbre than the OG Monarch with more bass texture in the low-end and less of the plasticky-ness that BAs tend to exhibit. Midrange detail on the Monarch MKII is flagship-tier, as are its general layering chops.
